Healthy Living - The GN encourages Nunavummiut to make informed choices that lead to healthy living. Responsible use of liquor and cannabis is just one part of living healthy.

Drinking and Driving - Working closely with RCMP, bylaw, licensed establishments, taxi companies and donors, the GN supports a “Celebrate Safely” campaign each year to help people get home safely during the December holiday season.

Halting the Harm - In 2010, a special Task Force visited each community in Nunavut to consult on liquor issues. Nunavummiut shared their concerns, stories, and ideas. In 2012, the Task Force published a number of recommendations about steps the GN can take.
